Performances for Any Setting

Whether onstage at your jazz festival, in your busy restaurant, or in your living room, I will play for your guests with heart, swing, intelligence and creativity. It’s best if there is a tuned acoustic piano or a digital piano on site, but I can also bring my own trusty digital piano. I’m happy to play and sing or just play solo piano from my large repertoire of jazz tunes (Thelonious Monk, Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker, Bill Evans, etc.), bossa novas (Antonio Carlos Jobim), the American Songbook (George Gerswhin, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Hoagy Carmichael, etc.), modern jazz (Pat Metheny, Keith Jarrett, etc.) and even some 60s pop (Burt Bacharach, Joni Mitchell, Beatles).

Solo or Combo

I can also add an acoustic bass player or sax player to make a duo. Or you can decide you want to have bass and drums for a classic jazz trio, with my own arrangements. Or you can have it all with a quartet! You can hear tracks from some of my CDs with my San Francisco Bay Area groups as well as recent Philadelphia studio recordings on my Listen page

Private Parties

I live in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood of Philadelphia since 2018. Nothing would make me happier than to walk to your house, sit at your piano and play for your occasion. Perhaps you want to give your friends an opportunity to sing along. A teacher at heart, I will encourage them!

Your jazz piano was the perfect venue for my clients and friends Open House. You were the sparkle we needed to complete the festive event. Thanks for your stellar performance!

Debbie and her trio played for my company’s 10th anniversary in business. We wanted her special touch on Jazz standards, her special swinging sound, and we got it! The wine flowed, the food flowed and the music was the wave that kept it all rolling.

I am privileged to know Debbie as an artist and immediately
thought of her when I was planning my first gala. “Follow Your Heart”
raised almost $10,000 for the Adult Congenital Heart Association, a
patient advocacy group for people born with heart defects. Debbie’s music at
the event added a special level of sophistication and beauty. Reviews from our guests were universally superb.

For over 20 years Debbie’s artistry has graced our holiday parties. She wowed us with her versatile and joyful playing-be it jazz standards, improvisation, her own thoughtful tunes or holiday favorites. Her engaging, charismatic piano music was always the hit of the party!
