DEBBIE'S LATEST GOINGS ON

You can go to my Listen page and hear me as a castaway on the Desert Island Show with Alisa Clancy from 9/19/08 on KCSM FM 91.1, the Bay Area'a Jazz Station. I made my playlist of some of the music that I couldn't live without, we listened, laughed, told some Jazz Life's stories and had fun!

My wonderful 2007 trio CD "A Song in Jazz" is available several places here in the San Francisco Bay Area. See "Links" or "Buy my CD" pages. You can also press the magic "Buy Now" button below and go directly to my cdbaby page and listen to clips and buy the entire CD itself and have it shipped to you, or downloaded as an MP3. It's now also on iTunes, Pandora and Rhapsody.

The CD features the rhythm section from paradise, Bill Douglass on acoustic bass (Marian McPartland, Mose Allison), and David Rokeach on drums(Ray Charles, Mark Murphy, The Jersey Boys). Read more about them in the "Bio" section and listen to excerpts in the "Listen" section. I've also put some of my thoughts about the tunes here in lieu of liner notes. And, read the great reviews from around the country about the CD under "Press/Reviews".

Read more about my beloved teaching practice under "Teaching" and read recommendations from my students under "Press/Reviews". I teach near Oakland, Berkeley, Piedmont, Alameda, and San Francisco. And please check out my E-presskit on the "Links" page.
